There are a number of ways you can help:

We encourage and welcome all donations - both monetary and volunteering time. Regular donations may be mailed to the Epilepsy Society of Kern County, 5117 Office Park Drive, Bakersfield, CA 93309, or dropped by the office.

If you wish greater visibility, you may become a cash sponsor for our Mud Volleyball Tournaments for Epilepsy held in June of each year.

Volunteering your time is always welcome. We have clients who cannot drive because of their seizures and need transportation locally. Or, you may help at our Circles of Understanding Support Groups by providing refreshments for the evening for about 20 people. Or, you may help during the volleyball tournaments in June by being a referee, by helping set up frames and nets (must be willing to get muddy) at the mud volleyball portion of the tournaments, by helping fold T-shirts in June for the volleyball tournaments (over 1100 T-shirts each year and growing each year), or assisting us in the office.
